It emphasizes the significance of spatiality and public mobility, examining the geography of state apparatus, German cartography, and public movement. By challenging traditional views on territorial delimitation, the study highlights that political territories are shaped by everyday practices and collective imagination, rather than solely by policy and diplomacy.
