Focusing on catalyst behavior under pressures up to 12 bar, this PhD thesis investigates the combustion of methane (CH), hydrogen (H2), and carbon monoxide (CO), particularly in the context of using Low-Btu fuels for electric power generation. The research explores the effects of varying pressures and the impact of H2 and CO additions on methane combustion, highlighting the renewed interest in catalytic combustion as a viable energy production method.
