Focusing on the Palestinian territories, this seminar paper explores the most effective definitions and conceptions of poverty to accurately assess the situation. It proposes a combination of poverty mapping and a modified version of the Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) to facilitate efficient measurement methods. The analysis highlights the importance of adapting existing frameworks to better understand and address the unique challenges of poverty in this specific context.
