Focusing on the development of a real-time expert system, this work addresses the challenges faced by the University of Tennessee Space Institute's Aviation Systems department in conducting airborne science missions. With a need for skilled flight test engineers to monitor extensive sensor data, the system aims to enhance operational flexibility and accommodate customer involvement. The paper outlines the background, tools, and techniques utilized in creating the go, no-go program, which is continually refined to improve mission-critical instrumentation monitoring.
