Focusing on the phenomenon of boredom among Barbadian adolescents, this research paper explores the high incidence of boredom reported by students at Alexandra School. It highlights the alarming frequency of complaints from third and fourth form students, who express feelings of disengagement both in educational settings and at home. The study suggests that these young individuals feel a lack of agency in seeking fulfillment, indicating a deeper issue related to their social and educational experiences.
