Focusing on participative management, this qualitative cross-cultural study examines its meaning and practice across five European countries: the Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Poland, and Sweden. Utilizing Grounded Theory and theme-focused interviews with managers, it reveals distinct country-specific models influenced by decision types, time-related factors, and conflict. The results highlight both convergence and divergence in participative management approaches, integrating these insights into existing research for a comprehensive understanding of the topic.
