Focusing on the implications of Law No. 13.146, the research examines its provisions for ensuring educational access for individuals with special needs. Through a case study at Getúlio Vargas State College in São Borja, it explores how the law facilitates cognitive, social, and cultural development while addressing the unique limitations and requirements of these individuals. The study aims to assess the law's effectiveness in promoting inclusive education across various levels and lifelong learning opportunities.
