Aviation terrorism is examined as a critical issue that has escalated over the past thirty years, prompting international concern. The study highlights the rising frequency and severity of terrorist attacks, leading to the adoption of key international conventions by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), including the Tokyo, The Hague, and Montreal Conventions. Additionally, it explores the liability of air carriers under Article 17 of the Warsaw Agreement for personal damages resulting from hijacking incidents.
