Focusing on biographical narratives, this study explores sage-stories that highlight the lives and deeds of Rabbinic sages, shedding light on their significance in the development of Rabbinic Judaism during its formative period. It delves into documents from the first six centuries C.E., offering insights into the canon's evolution while intentionally excluding the two Talmuds. This examination reveals the cultural and historical context of these narratives, enhancing our understanding of Rabbinic thought and identity.
