Focusing on the training of chemical officers, this thesis evaluates the current radiological instruction provided in the Chemical Officer Basic Course and the Chemical Captain's Career Course. It highlights the necessity for improved education regarding low-level radiation hazards, which are crucial for officers to advise commanders effectively. The analysis reveals gaps in the existing curriculum and recommends enhancements to better equip officers with the knowledge needed to address both physical health risks and psychological impacts of radiation exposure. Additionally, it suggests revisions to relevant military publications.
