The study investigates the relationship between elevated Troponin-I levels and left ventricular (LV) systolic dysfunction severity in patients experiencing their first non-ST elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI). Conducted at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, it involved 130 patients divided into two groups based on their left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF). The research highlights the significance of Troponin-I as a marker for myocardial damage and its correlation with LV function, which is crucial for assessing prognosis in acute coronary syndrome cases.
