The work focuses on enhancing the understanding of key parameters involved in the formation of 2D nanostructures, including self-assembled structures and frameworks. These structures are built from specially designed organic molecules functionalized with various groups, enabling their adsorption on surfaces like graphite and metals. The study employs scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) and other surface analysis techniques to investigate the properties and chemical reactions during the formation process, paving the way for innovative applications in nanotechnology.
