A middle-aged newly wed couple along with their troubled teenagers are in a horrible plane crash in the Rocky Mountains while on their way to an extravagant Halloween party. Broken bones, hungry wild dogs and an early Colorado snowstorm test their will to survive and to communicate with each other.
