First published in 1906 this edition of Shakespeare's Complete Works by W• J. Craig has been many times reprinted. The spelling has been modernized, and the punctuation revised. A short glossary of obsolete words is provided, and there is also an index of characters and of the first lines of songs. The drawing on the jacket, a reconstruction of the Fortune Theatre, 1600, is by C. Walter Hodges, and is reproduced from his study of the Shakespearian stage, The Globe Restored. --front flap
