The Requiem, completed by Franz Xaver Süssmayr, is traditionally viewed as Mozart's final work, left unfinished and surrounded by questions regarding its expressive depth and the sorrow of the composer's early death. The piano reduction has been refined for clarity, while the vocal parts now feature better spacing and slightly larger text.
