In 1994, the Writers' Circle of Andorra was born. The collection of short stories you are holding in your hands marks the 30th anniversary of the group, with tales from Clare Allcard, Adrienne Atwell, Alexandra Grebennikova, Patricia W. Grey, Peony de Sy, Jeanne de Ferranti, Valerie C. Rymarenko and Greg Coonen. These writers were born on five continents - hailing from Australia, England, France, the Philippines, Russia and the United States - and have collectively lived in over 100 countries, sometimes in dire, life-threatening circumstances (just peruse Clare's first story to see if this is hyperbole!) What unites them is that all have made their home in Andorra. From these peaceful Pyrenean valleys, here are 23 singular stories whose common thread is unexpected endings.
