Book filled with words and images (both color and black and white photos, floor plans, architectural sections, localization on the map) deals with more than 30 major architectural Prague passages - passages of townhouses and palaces, with their glass walls, shops, cafes, cabarets and theaters. Compared to the original French version, which was published in Paris in. 1993 dealt only with the period from 1900 to 1940, was the Czech edition, four years later, extended to the chapter "The Arcades after 1990".
