Duna není jen kniha Duna je svět, do kterého buď vstoupíte.. nebo se v něm ztratíte ( a obojí je vlastně v pořádku). Frank Herbert vytvořil propracované univerzum plné politiky, intrik, náboženství, ekologie i moci - a všechno to do sebe zapadá s až nepříjemnou přesností. Příběh Paula Atreida se pomalu rozvíjí, nikam se nežene, ale každá kapitola má svůj význam. Nic tu není navíc. Intriky velkorodů, boj o koření, pouštní planeta Arrakis a Fremené.. všechno má hloubku a váhu. A čím dál čtete, tím víc si uvědomujete, že tohle není klasický hrdinský příběh. Herbert si s očekáváním nás čtenářů hraje. Chytře. A nemilosrdně. Styl psaní je náročnější, vyžaduje pozornost a taky trpělivost.. ale odměnou je jeden z nejikoničtějších scifáren vůbec. Duna je za mě inteligentní, temná, filozofická a místy až znepokojivě aktuální kniha.

Geniální dílo
Veľmi odporúčam prečítať si predslov aj doslov, keďže tieto komentáre dodávajú notoricky známemu deju úplne nový rozmer. Do bohatého a premysleného sveta Franka Herberta je radosť sa ponoriť. Plusom je šikovný rozmer knihy.
Nebylo to špatný, ale na můj vkus až moc fantasy.
