Auschwitz, 1943. Fourteen-year-old Jewish girl Dita Adlerova finds herself in the family unit of the death camp. Pain, dirt, hunger and despair - this place is permeated with grief and hopelessness. But the camp prisoners were able to transform their scars dig at the armor. Here, Dita meets athlete Freddy Hirsch and learns about an underground library created by prisoners. The child receives a task: to hide from the Nazis 8 editions that were saved for the children's education. If members of the SS find out about this, everyone involved will be massacred.
