Struggling with the loss of his brother Nick, Ty Taggart's passion for skating falters, leading him to skate recklessly and lose interest in competitions. A visit from Nick's best friend, Edwin, helps Ty channel his grief into his skating. In the tournament finals, Ty impresses with his skills until a wipeout leaves him with a broken board. He must overcome this setback and repair his board overnight to seize the chance to prove himself and honor his brother's memory.
