Professor Nutter and his nephew Nigel are visiting Nutter Hall, an old Tudor mansion that once belonged to the Nutter family. When they discover a priest's hole in the bedroom, it is a portal to the past. However, the past can be a dangerous place, as the Professor finds out when he is tried for treason.
