In what at first seems a chance meeting with an Orthodox monk, a young couple find themselves drawn deeply into the world of ancient mysticism and the authentic Christian truth. Over a period of forty years they find many of their assumptions about the Christian faith are challenged as they learn to hear the voice of the early Church still speaking in the twenty-first century.
