Rex, aspiring to emulate his grandfather by conquering uncharted wild rivers, embarks on an adventure in South America to navigate El Furioso. However, the true peril lies not in the rapids but in human conflict. He teams up with Myriam Calambás, a local indígena guide with dreams of becoming a reporter. As they navigate the river, they become entangled in the violent struggle between paramilitaries and guerillas, highlighting themes of survival and the fight for justice in a world under threat.
