On the Use of Model Order Reduction Techniques for the Elastohydrodynamic Contact Problem

Focused on nonlinear elastohydrodynamic contact problems, this work introduces a method that utilizes model order reduction techniques for efficient and precise solutions. By projecting onto a low-dimensional subspace and employing various hyper-reduction procedures, it delivers fast and accurate reduced order models applicable to both stationary and transient scenarios, addressing both Newtonian and Non-Newtonian EHD line and point contact issues.
