Despite the rapid growth of Green literature, the concept has often been overlooked, with significant discourse only beginning in the mid-1990s. The work critically examines the debates surrounding the legitimacy and independence of Green ideology, addressing the ongoing scholarly contention regarding its status as a distinct political framework.
