Set in 1749 Paris, the story follows Amelie, a renowned dressmaker catering to the city's elite. Her life takes a turn when she attends a masked ball at the Opera, where she meets the charming Count Pierre Lavois. Fearing recognition, she flees the event. However, her fate intertwines with Pierre's when King Louis XV summons her to Versailles, where she is tasked with dressing Madame de Pompadour. This unexpected opportunity brings Amelie closer to Pierre, leading to new romantic possibilities amidst the opulence of the court.
