Set against the backdrop of Sierra Madre Canyon, the story follows Matt and Abby as they adjust to life with their eccentric Great-Aunt Gerda after their mother's passing. Initially unsettled by Aunt Gerda's life-size wooden dolls, Matt's perspective shifts when the dolls are vandalized and two go missing. Teaming up with his new friend Kristin, he embarks on a mission to recover the stolen dolls, leading to unexpected adventures and a deeper understanding of family and friendship.
