One is heading to West Point, while the other prepares for university in Albany. Their friendship endures through the Civil War, leading to a pivotal moment when Colonel Christian is assigned to oversee reconstruction in Georgia. As he reunites with his friend, now an educator and minister, they face life-altering decisions that will test their bond and commitment to making a difference in a tumultuous era.
