As Charles Edward Stuart rallies Highland clansmen and Lowlander supporters, Lindesay's unique position as Keeper of the Royal Wardrobe intertwines with the larger struggle for the Scottish throne, highlighting themes of loyalty, ambition, and the complexities of war.
