Set in November 1745, the story unfolds as Charles Edward Stuart, the Prince Regent of Scotland, faces the looming threat of King George's forces. As the Scottish Jacobites launch an invasion into England, Lord Kilmarnock's regiment of Horse Grenadiers is tasked with a critical mission: escorting the baggage and artillery through treacherous terrain. With only 150 horsemen, they must navigate hostile hills and ensure a rendezvous with the main Jacobite army, or risk losing their chance to confront the impending campaign.
