Set against the backdrop of post-Hurricane Katrina New Orleans, the story unfolds in a city plagued by chaos and lawlessness. As bodies turn up in abandoned structures, a former assistant district attorney, Henry Xavier O'Grady, navigates a landscape rife with vengeance and foul play. Known as Irish Henry, he finds himself entangled in the turmoil, confronting the dark realities of a city struggling to regain its footing amidst the anarchy.
