Set in Puerto Rico, this sequel follows Felita as she navigates the challenges of being an outsider in her uncle's small village. Initially feeling bored and isolated, she struggles to connect with the local girls. However, as the summer progresses, Felita learns to adapt and build friendships, ultimately embracing her new experiences. By the end of her journey, she recognizes the value of her time there, realizing she will miss both her new friends and the beauty of her homeland.
