Transported to the past, Buddy Stebbins finds himself aboard a leaking pirate ship during a storm, alongside the eccentric Captain John Crack-stone. After washing ashore in New England, he encounters his ancestor Abigail, who is embroiled in the witchcraft hysteria of the time. As Buddy navigates a world filled with ghosts, witches, and treasure, he faces the challenge of saving his ancestors while seeking a way back to his own time and the mysterious thirteenth floor.
