Set in a picturesque university town in Mid-Wales, the story explores the lives of diverse characters navigating the challenges of academia and personal growth. Among them are four boys with distinct personalities and three girls embodying different aspects of youth. Their interactions are influenced by a quirky landlady and a lecturer with romantic interests in his students. The ever-watchful sea serves as both a backdrop and a catalyst for their adventures, which oscillate between humor, trauma, and poignant moments, culminating in a tragic experience for one character.
