When Saran walked out on Alva, it left her broken hearted, causing her to hide out for a few days. Toni seemed to be everything Alva wanted in a woman sensitive, smart, romantic. After their shopping spree, Toni professed that she had always been in love with Alva and asked her to share her life and move in with her. Impressed with the speech, Alva accepted. They brought all their friends together by throwing this lavish party. Surprising to everyone, Alva's ex, Saran, was also invited. It was a sad time for the girls when their friend Ronnie died in a car crash. This brought them closer together and allowed them to start a friendship club. Sam wasn't the only one intoxicated by Mandi's lovemaking. She had made a grave mistake by trading her best friend for the likes of Mandi, who eventually broke her heart. But Tina changed it all, when they ended up spending the weekend together, under the sheets.
