Country singer and super star Glen Bannister meets Shelly Burke a local young woman singing in a Hotel lounge while on tour. Shelly's life would never be the same after that. Suddenly Shelly embarks into an exciting career and life! While on tour together things begin to heat up between them. Can they keep things from turning from a flame to a fire? After all he is a married man. Glen brings into the picture Jill, Shelly's best friend. Is she just a distraction for them so not to get to close? Shelly is confused by her feelings as she faces her career on her own. With her own solo tour ahead, can she handle it on her own? Who is the stranger with the cowboy hat on in the first row? Will Shelly become a super star? Can she forget Glen Bannister or circum to all the pressure of touring on her own? Glen Bannister had taught her so much. Could she still count on him for support?
