For children, there are some things that are simply off-limits. It could be a child and his or her blanket. A favorite stuffed animal is critical to a youngster’s good night sleep. The sense that something belongs to us and only us is personal. When children are young, it can be difficult to share something they treasure with others. In this story, a boy has a favorite cup and fears his sibling may do it some harm. As you read the story, think about what can be shared and should not be shared with others.
