Former U.S. Secret Service Agent John Frederick Quincannon and Sabina Carpenter, the widow of a Pinkerton detective, have joined forces to form the firm of Carpenter and Quincannon, Professional Detective Services. Quincannon would like for them to join forces in other ways as well, but his partner valiantly resists. The adventures of Carpenter and Quincannon take them all over the American West in the 1890s.
