Double-trouble twins, Donald and Davey, are sent to their uncle's farm in Fernbeck for the summer holidays. Following initial shock, to their own surprise, they soon begin to enjoy the farm life and the hard yet satisfying work that comes with it. In their spare time, while taking a stroll along a river, the twins stumble upon a dead body. Meanwhile, their sister, Jane, is doing work experience at a newspaper. She soon finds out from her brothers about the crime, which could make the headlines. Together with her aunt Kate, who is also her supervisor, Jane travels to Fernbeck to collect material for an article. Detectives Rouquet and Candel, trying to keep the case low-key, may not be overjoyed at that...
