Viac o knihe
As You Like It is one of William Shakespeare's greatest comedies, often referred to as a festive comedy. It features romantic pairs and the unforgettable Rosalind, alongside the character of Touchstone and the melancholic Jacques, who delivers one of Shakespeare's most famous monologues, beginning with "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players." In this play, Shakespeare presents the world as a stage in theatrical shorthand. The characters act in situations that reflect one another, ultimately allowing us to recognize ourselves within them. The charm, humor, and wisdom of As You Like It lie in this magical Shakespearean reflection.
