In the developing world there is both an enthusiasm and a real growth while in many parts of the Western world the church seems to be in decline. However there are some religious groups and movements that are experiencing growth. The Authors of this book attempt to study seven of today’s movements to see why some are growing while others are either stagnant or declining. As we plan for the future it is important that we understand the dynamics of growth so as to be able to carry out the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ and that is “To make disciples of all nations”.
