Ness Owen lives on Ynys Môn off the North Wales coast. This is her first collection. All of the poems are in English, 6 are also provided in Welsh. The poems journey from family to politics and belonging: an underlying connection to home, that feeds a desire to write in the Mother tongue that she speaks, but did not learn to write fluently.
