There's a pickpocket at Windy Vale train station: not a big problem, but the perpetrator isn't visible and can't be detected on CCTV. As usual the police chief can't spare the resources. Time for our wizard detective, Killian Spooks, to solve the case, but things are not as they seem. The thief is only a small part of the problem and there's a bigger fish to fry.Added to this Killian is shadowed by a dark stranger and when he investigates, it takes him to a very dark place he's familiar with, but never thought he'd have to return to.Killian Spooks has more problems than he knows how to deal with.
