As tensions rise, with Faati's jealousy and desire for dominance leading to a rivalry that escalates, the household becomes a battleground. Faati's pregnancy shifts the power dynamics, leaving Ashraf Khanum feeling abandoned. The plot thickens when Faati seeks revenge with the help of her father, resulting in catastrophic consequences that threaten their fragile family structure.

This collection features a variety of fables and allegories that use animals to mirror human behaviors and cultural traits of Iranians, often infused with dark humor. The stories explore themes of judgment, democracy, and moral hypocrisy through clever narratives, such as a jackass judging birds and wolves explaining democracy to a sheep. Other tales depict a cunning crook's dual life, a henpecked man's escapade, and a father's quest during the Iran-Iraq war, all highlighting societal issues and the absurdities of life under a repressive regime.
