Ecological dynamics and historical uses of fire are explored, emphasizing its role in shaping environments and aiding human development. The work addresses the detrimental effects of bushfires on natural resources and advocates for collaborative efforts among stakeholders to improve fire management. A participatory and pragmatic approach is recommended to enhance the capacity of various actors involved in fire management. The study focuses on two rural communes, N'Golonianasso and Zantiébougou, utilizing the Accelerated Participatory Research Method for analysis.
