Valedictorian, Markus "Magic" Taylor, is in his last semester of high school. He is invited to a math competition and if he places as one of the top competitors, Magic could win a full scholarship to college. But after Magic's mama is admitted into a mental health facility and his older sister is arrested, he is left to survive in the roguish, animalistic environment also known as the jungle, alone. Magic's decisions and peer pressure could force him to lose everything he has worked so hard to accomplish thus far.
