The Day Broccoli Left the Farm is for more than just veggie lovers - it’s engaging and FUN for every child who loves exciting adventures (but best suited for ages 2-8).If your child finds it hard to eat their vegetables, let them join Broccoli and his veggie friends on their exciting and fun-loving adventures as they leave the farm and set out to make children like them. They will also meet the animal friends that helped them along their journey. As parents and caregivers, we often go to the limit to encourage our children to eat their vegetables. In this rhyming and funny picture book, these vegetables went the extra mile to get to your home to create a delicious recipe that your children will love. This book also focuses on sharing, friendship, gratitude, teamwork, and how to overcome obstacles. I realize that most children do not like vegetables, so I wrote this book to help change their famous saying, "this is gross and yucky," into "this is yummy in my tummy." By the end of this book, I hope that even the pickiest veggie eater will want to help make and eat the delicious recipes at the end of this book.

    • Murphy is very sad that he can't spend time with his family and friends, especially his best friend, Daisy. He misses playing with her and doesn't understand why he can't see her, so he asks his mom why this is happening. Murphy's mom teaches him about COVID-19, including how to stay safe and healthy. His mom also shows him different options on how to stay in touch with his loved ones and his friends. Murphy feels much better after learning other ways of interacting with his friends and families and he is excited to share what he has learned with Daisy.
