Focusing on the 1950s in West Germany, this work analyzes how conservative political and economic groups utilized innovative election campaign strategies and public relations to shape perceptions of the Social Market Economy and the Economic Miracle. It highlights the role of economic narratives in bolstering conservative electoral victories, fostering a belief in free market principles, and establishing legitimacy and stability for the newly formed Federal Republic of Germany.
