Now in its third edition, this reference work serves as a key resource for the interdisciplinary community of astrobiologists, aiding both new and experienced researchers and graduate students in grasping the broader context of their field. Contributed by a carefully selected group of active researchers, it aims to provide a comprehensive international perspective and foster interdisciplinary advancement in astrobiology. This field encompasses exciting discoveries related to exoplanets, the diversity and resilience of life, and the conditions for life's emergence.
