The primary aim of this book is to prepare students for the English for Business examination of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and similar examinations. The book assumes a reasonable standard of English but aims to help the student improve command of English, to familiarize the student with the language in the business context in which it is used and to acquaint the student with the business settings in which the language functions. It goes on to teach the various skills required.
